The New Century version. many denominations use it. It is not a standard with anyone in particular. It is an easy read, although most Bible students do not use it for study.

the only denomination I've heard that uses a singular translation is the Baptist, from what I know they use the KJV soley..

Presonally I think that's idiotic, I own a KJV< but I read the NKJV, the NCV, and a New Revised Standard Version.

With it's limited vocabulary, the NCV was designed for people who are new to the English language, such as immigrant groups and foreign missions. Those would be the types of congregations that might use it.

There isn't a particular denomination that uses it. Some say you have to use the KJV, but most allow you to use the one that you like best.
