I am not totally sure I understand your question, I am guessing that you are implying that if we are intelligently designed then everyone should be successful due to being perfectly created. The answer is simple, the fall. Man is devolving all the time, as is everything else in the universe. We are a shadow of what we once were.

We're normal people just like everyone else out there... just a bit on the poor side. I have a double Bachelor's degree; still think I'm stupid?
300 lb trucker chugging beer, huh? Interesting analogy! My husband is 285 pounds but that's because he's 6'4" and played football for many years. Sure, he'll drink a Corona if we go out to Olive Garden or Friday's, but he doesn't sit on the front porch spittin' chew and chuggin' beers and beatin' me.

Well, at least they're not homeless. How many pay checks are you away from losing your home? Do you own a home yet? What happens when you can't pay your college loans off. Or that first job doesn't come through.

Two years on my savings. Not including my retirement accounts. Then again I'm not depending on an intelligent designer to take care of me
