My friend got married. A lot of things went wrong. But the wedding happened. The main thing was that the location they were to be married at would not allow the number of guests they were having. At the last minute they had to change the location. Four months later I get an invitation in the mail for another wedding. Anyone have any ideas? I mean I think its great, but what would the reasoning behind it be?

You may want to touch base with your friend. Maybe something went wrong and the first one for whatever reason wasn't "official". Maybe they won't be happy until they walk down that specific aisle.
Who knows...but its another opportunity to celebrate them...but I believe the if you gave them a present the first time around...you wouldn't be expected to give them another.

They either obsess on making things perfect or they weren't able to invite all of the people that they wanted to the first time. Most people wait at least a year to have another ceremony but it seems to be a growing trend to have many in a row. I wouldn't buy another gift if you attended the first one though.

my guess is that they they put so much time and effort into it and really wanted it to be special so re-did the whole thing so everyone could attend....

Mayb they want it to be right and they want their weeding to be memorable so the want it perfectly done so they decided to do it again.
