Yes, I imagine that God would have helped her in some way. He was the creator so I believe that He would have taken care of all their needs. Interesting thought. I was wondering the same about Mary the other day when Christ was born. How was that for her. I guess as women we think of those things.

I see you have not given birth. If the baby is hanging there by a string thats stuck inside you, you pull out the string and thus the Placenta. You don`t want that hanging off your kid so you cut it off.
God enters into it when you witness the life coming out of you. That tiny little perfect hand with fingernails and all reaching out to grasp your finger. The meaning of life is life, a gift from god. It`s a beautiful gift, pass it on.
Good question

How did Adam know how to plant crops? How did they know how to sew fig leaves together for a covering? All knowledge and wisdom comes from God. I am sure God was fully capable of instructing them on such matters.

"what the hell? I don't have one of these icky things on a rope hanging off my stomach, that doesn't look like a very good thing to keep on there..."
and/or "I better keep going til everything is out..."
seriously though, doesn't that sorta thing seem rather self explanatory to a degree?
besides god was in far more direct contact at the time, and could easily "inspire" an instinct that its ok, or that its finished or not.

There was no child bearing as we know it today. After they ate of the tree of knowledge(sinned against God) God told them that women were to be saved through child birth. This is what sin did for women even in the present.

Animals have been doing that since there were animals and even if you believe that Adam and Eve really were the first people, there were animals in Eden. She watched them.

The same way that animals know how to give birth and take care of their young. (No one gives *them* instructions!) : )
