Cover up the porch on the sides with wood or something. Because i once had a cat named Spots and she lived in the basement with us and there was this big whole underneath the stairs and she would go in there to do her business (she didn't like her litter box)so we covered it up with wood so she couldn't get in.

Move the gravel.

Seriously, amonia DOES NOT work to deter or cover animal accidents. This is because amonia is an ingredient in urine. So, to their way of thinking, you just reinforced their behavior.

Try moving the gravel, or placing something unpleasant there until you have broke the cat... like, bubble wrap. A scarecrow. anything....

Don't use ammonia. Ammonia is the main ingredient in cat urine. To them the gravel under your porch smells like a litter box. No wonder they poop under there.

If you must let your cats outside, then I suggest you remove all the old soiled gravel and put some Nature's Miracle (you can buy this at Petsmart/Petco/WalMart) to kill the remaining smell. Then put new gravel down.

Well if you stopped cleaning them up, there would eventually be a point where he'd not have a place to step. They don't like to step in it you know. Problem solved. Or you could take the head and foot board off for a while and put the bed directly on the floor. Wait til he forgets about it and then raise it back up. Or rub his nose in the underbed poo.

You could try mothballs, they are a good cat deterrent. The downside is the smell of them and they need replaced occasionally.

The next thing to do is install some chickenwire where they are getting under the porch.

You have to clean up the area and douse it all with bleach...you might want to block off the area with chicken wire or lattice. Also you might want to change the type of kitty litter you are using. If you are using the scoop-able stuff maybe they prefer the old fashioned stuff that is more like gravel.

Treat the area with apple cider vinegar. Cats absolutely hate the smell and taste of vinegar and will avoid it like the plague. Ammonia is counterproductive because cat piss smells like ammonia, thus attracting the cats to the spot instead of repelling them.

Keep them in the house. Indoor-only cats and happier and healthier than their counterparts who are allowed outside. They'll live longer too.
