I currently have a gorgeous 12 week old pit bull puppie(female) white and brown, I have to get rid of her becuase I am moving to an apartment and most apartments won't allow a pitbull..(stupid) so now she's up for grabs. reply with your email if you live near the Dallas area if you're interested.

You really shouldn't post something like this on such a public forum. You might end up giving your dog to a dog-fighter or a buncher.

Why don't you try looking for a place that will allow pit bulls? Your local animal shelters may have listings.

Wow, This is a problem. Is there any way to return him?I know that is cruel to you, but it may save you sooo much trouble. I was shocked when I got an 8 weekold Rottweiler pup whose first act when coming into our house was to get on the foot stool and stare down the other 2 Rotties., and begin to bark. Now she is 5 1/2 monthes and 60 lbs of sleek muscle, and there has been a constant battle between her and the other very dominent Rottie. It has taken constant kind but firm supervision, and things are settling down. She had very kind treatment before we bought her and after. She is such a sweetheart, and fine with people, but is very protective of the house. This is more intense then the other Rotties I have owned the last 24 years. The young dog should not be acting this way unless you want a fighter. Please return the dog and get a more docile ,Pit Bull.I think it will only get worse.I have a friend with a lovely Pit Bull, with people, but she has to be careful around other dogs. These powerful breeds come with personalities genetically programed. Some things can be modified, but I don't know about bitting and growling in such a young dog. Some dogs are selectively bred for fighting, and perhaps your dog is one of them., even if the breeder had no idea about this one being one of them. I probably should not be answering such a question. What would Caesar say I wonder. Good luck, and be careful The rest of the litter may not be this way

I suggest you look for pitbull friendly aparments, or a private rental home.

This puppy is YOUR responsibility. You should have considered what would happen to the dog if you moved, and considering it's only 12 weeks old, I doubt this move is much of a "surprise."

If you "must" rehome your dog, do the responsible thing and get her spayed, or she will be bred over and over again, adding thousands of pitbull puppies to death row....Her puppies will breed, their puppies will breed, so on and so forth. And...let's face it...here you are getting rid of your pitbull, so the chances are, the puppies will also be dumped at a later date, due to irresponsibility.

Go to http://www.pbrc.net and look at their spay/neuter fund for help getting that done.

I'm sorry if this comes across as overly harsh. I work with pitbulls and rescue, so I see what happens to these dogs, and alot of times it is not pretty.

Coming on here to sell your 12 week old puppy could result in her being bought by a back yard breeder, or some a**hole dog fighter, or she could wind up as "bait" to teach another dog to fight...

I so wish more people chose their choice of canine companionship more carefully. It's the dogs that suffer...

You should have thought of this BEFORE getting a dog- let alone a pitbull, KNOWING that most rental buildings have breed restrictions. She is probably going to end up in a shelter someday soon. And there is a 75% chance she will be euthanized.
