I actually have a few friends that i could see myself with, but:

1. Is it wise?

2. how would i go about asking her out with minimum awkwardness?

3. There is added awkwardness, because i am also good friends with her Brother.

alright, listen up, i was in the same position a little while ago, u need to ask her out like, ur not reely anxious but ur kindof like laid back and in the - yea i dont reely care mood.

be like- "wanna go see a movie sometime" or "hey if ur not busy wanna like go and get sumthin to eat"

if she say no, be like " alright cool, mabye some other time" dont worry about her brother, if hes ur friend hed understand, let me know how it goes.

Let's seee..... I had gone out with a friend's brother. It was a little awkward but it was fun when we all hung out together.

My boyfriend now and I were friends for a long time before we started going out and he's liked me the entire time. One day, he asked to hang out with me. I didn't know if it was just going to be us... I didn't care though because he was my friend. So I said sure. We played pool... watched a movie at my place... he even opened the car door for me and I naturally said thank you. He said, "Well that's what you do on a date, right?" That was HIS way of asking if it really WAS a date. Clever cleverrr... I didn't answer him though. I just laughed LOL. Little did I know that I was going to develop feelings for him outta nowhere that day. We've been together for 10 months now.

Remember this:
A great friendship is the way to a great love.

If you believe that she feels the same way, yes it is wise.

Ask her to go to a movie or on a 'friend' date with you. At the time you think is right, tell her that you've known each other for a while and ask her if she'd be willing to try a relationship with you. If she says it's be too weird, agree and move on with your freidnship. If she says she'd like to try it sometime, don't rush it. Is she says yes, also don't rush her. Act as if your still friends, and slowly move into your realtionship.

If her brother is bigger than you, and your scared he won't like you dating his sis, then talk to him about it. Basically, ask his permission, b4 you ask her out. If the older brother don't like you, it's just as bad as her dad not liking you. If he beleives you would treat her well, go for it. Best of Luck!
