ok I was goimg to say I'm to old to help but now that I know the problem I'll help. Get rid of that jack a$$. If he hits you find some guy bigger to hit him. let him find out what a real man looks like. If you can't find someone to do that then get the police involved. So to sum up dump the jerk and If tries to hit after that you find some big friend to help you with him.
Also don't let him try to say sorry and make up for it. Just find someone new.

LEAVE him NOW!!! You never should except someone in your life abusing you. What he did was not OK and you are better then that. Trust me leave now or things could just get way worse!

dont take him back!! i had the same problem with a guy and it went on for a while.... later, i dumped him and it basically got better
