This is really strange and im not sure if ive ever noticed it before. But i have this grape size lump on the right side of my vagina like in the bikini area. Its really strange because i dont know that its visible on the outside. It feels like a hard lump under the skin. Has anyone ever had this before? Im going to have my hubby look at it later and see if he sees anything but i was peeing and i went to wipe and i felt this lump there and its pretty hard and it feels bigger than the other side...what could this be? im kinda worried?!?!? Thanks so much sorry for being so gross lol

No, you are right...it isn't an STD. I get these occassionally. Don't worry about it at all. My gyne told me not to worry. It's a harmless cyst, and it will go away on it's own. You can help it along by taking warm sitz baths. I know it is annoying, but you would be baffled to know how many women get these, we just don't talk about them. My mom gets them, my best friend. Don't worry honey....it will go away.

I was told it ithere are tiny glands present in the labia that produce a lubricating fluid, particularly when a woman is sexually aroused. Sometimes the opening of one of these little glands can become blocked and the fluid can build up inside and it causes a small lump on the labia, it looks like a 'blind' pimple . If painful, gently bathe the area with warm water. Avoid the temptation to squeeze it

Don't believe the jack@sses that say it's an STD. I started getting these when I was 11 years old (very painful at times) and I went to the doctor. She said it was because I was a dancer and had to shave that area everyday and wear tights everyday, which prevented air movement and caused a buildup of pus (disgusting, I know). Anyway, I grew out of it, I am in my twenties now, and I don't have any STDs. Good luck.

Sounds like your Bartholin gland has a cyst. That is the gland that provides vaginal lubrication. Sit in the tub with the water as hot as you can stand it 4-5 times a day for a few days and hopefully it will go down. If it becomes infected, you will have to go to your Dr and she will have to lance it and give you an antibiotic.

Could be a number of things; if it's the size of a grape I would definitely get it checked out, because even if it's harmless you don't want to have a grape-sized lump staying there.

I have had these before. Two were inside and one on the outside. My gyn/obs said they were just cysts and they would go away on there own. I know this is gross but they did bust. I had one while pregnant with my first child. I would definitely get it check though.

It could be a boil so what I suggest u do is soak it with a wash cloth for 20-30 mins and then squeeze it to see if anything comes out.

I had one once. I became very uncomfortable to sit. It ended up I had a gland infected. I kinda looked like I was growing a testicle. Anyway, i went to the OBGYN and he lanced it. It was sore for a few days and I soaked in hot salt bath but I recovered fine and haven't had one since.

it could be a lymph node that is larger in size, but to make sure it's not cancerous you need to go see a Dr immediately. don't keep touching it you might aggravate it, and cause it to get bigger.

I am not sure what it is, but I get them every now and then. They go away and come back. I am not sure what it is from though. I am pretty sure it is normal though, it doesnt hurt does it? If so, then maybe you should get it checked out.
