I will be 16 jan. 29th. and I want a job. I have a man that will give me a job when I turn 16 for $8.00 an hour. I am homeschooled. My mom is a school teacher, and where I live the state doesnt pay her much. My father has passed away. All I want is a used s10 or another old used vehicle so I can get to work. Is there anyone with a bit of extra cash that could help me out? I could get a good running truck with $2000. Once I turn 16, I can pay the money back plus $250 within 3 months. What I am asking is someone that has already established themselves in the world to help someone that is trying to. My email is sammychabert@yahoo.com

Uh No. This isnt a good idea for two reasons.
1. No one is going to lend a total stranger that amount of money
2. Your 16. No 16yr old pays back that amount of money. Do you even know how long it will take you to save up that amount and then some making only 8 bucks an hour? More than a few months, I can tell you that much.

I've heard of some crazy things on this answer page, but you can't be serious. why not ask for 20,000 or 200,000? it be about as realistic. When you start working, save your money. And what state does pay teachers good?

PS if you spend 2000 on a truck, you'll spend 5000 in the first year repairing it.

A contract with a 15 yr old is void. Not valid. So if your mom is willy to make a contract then you may be able to get the money. Have your mom go to a used car dealer and sign for a car if she trusts you.
