I think its sad to say that. It means that many people aren't actually living their lives but preparing for death instead. What a terrible life. How depressing.

i do not comprehend i will inform you after I get one. heavily i'm liable to being a sarcastic burnout, and intensely indignant, and b*tch*ng about crap that does'nt even remember. For me getting sober and going lower back to the church I grew up are somewhat assisting plenty. I and others round me have reported a actual distinction in me contained in the purely right 6 months to a 12 months. and that i be certain if I keep sober, keep going to church and keep making good judgements then i'd be plenty happier and efficient and function a brighter destiny. It doesn't take position over nighttime guy, yet when my depressing a$$ can get chuffed than all people's were given a shot.

It is definatley temporary....and I find that to be completely positive! Because I know that after this short lived life, my eternal life will be with my Saviour Jesus Christ! That is what I look forward to. And in this life, yes we have many trials and tribulations....which is a good thing, well for me anyway, because it draws me closer to God and strengthens my faith in Him.

Personally, I don't believe this life is a dress rehearsal for some hoped-for posthumous paradise. This is our time. Chances are, it is all we get. It would, therefore, be a terrible waste of such precious time to spend it worrying about or hoping for something that probably won't come.

Not if you're found guilty!

What type of "trial" is implicit in this question...one with a judge, or one to overcome with self-satisfaction? if one hopes to get satisfaction from life, it would suck to have to wait until the end.

If this life were a trial by a god who knows everything, and who is the first cause of everything, then he would be not testing US, but himself...

That is contradictory to the notion that god is supposed to be perfect, and requires no test...

it sounds very pessimistic to me. life is meant to be enjoyed and lived. to say that life is a trial is basically saying you are under a micro-scope and if you do one little thing wrong you are going to die so be very careful not to live.

I would think such beliefs are horribly pessimistic, like nothing we do here on earth amounts to anything other than gaining points for being good.

If the end view is Heaven then yes for surely we will suffer as Jesus suffered.

i don't think this life is a trial. God made us so that he was not alone.
