No I wouldn't. What counts is compatibility with the person whether or not they are in a wheelchair. You might have to make some adjustments to how you normally approach dating, but you might also find your soulmate. Keep an open mind!

Well my partner hasn't got any difficulty with me being in a chair. She is an artist and actually painted the back of my chair with a moon rise we watched one evening during a thunderstorm. We do a lot of activities together the same as able bodied people but obviously there has to be some adjustments sometimes. She has become much more aware of people with disabilities and their rights. As well she has become very protective of wheelchair parking spots and will and has spoken to people parking there without proper signs etc. We are getting married next May and I plan on dancing all night in my chair and having a freaking ball. Certainly there are probably a lot of people who would not consider going out with people in chairs, but that is there loss. I have been disabled for 43 of the years I've been alive. Luckily this has never been a downfall for me as I have had numerous females involved in my live and have more friends than many other people I know who are not.

It would present problems, but I wouldn't say never. Is the person hot? Do you have lots in common with them? Also, there are various reasons why a person might be wheelchair-bound, and many of these people can still have sex. Who knows, they may give great head! I'd have an easier time ******* a person in a wheelchair than ******* a republican!

Honestly I can't say I would go after someone in a wheelchair. However if someone I have a relationship with was injured and had to use one I wouldn't leave them no matter what.

If I was in love with a man in a wheelchair I don't think it would be a problem. Of course I would make sure my home, driveway etc...was big enough for him. But I would never shoot a guy down just because he was in a wheel chair

I would have to really think hard about it. If I knew him and thought he was a really great guy it might be worth it, but if he approached me as a stranger I 'd have to say no. My entire life would have to be modified to accommodate the wheelchair bound person. What about future kids, snorkeling vacations, household chores, and sex?

Yes.

It is a big commitment - a lot of your attention would go towards helping her. Your schedule will have to be modified a lot. If you were planning to have children you would have to plan a lot as to how to raise them. Above all there might be things that you would like to do with your partner that might never be possible
