It depends on what your client's goal is. If leaner, stronger mucles is the goal, this is appropriate. If youre client wants large, bulky muscle, increase the weight.

Exercise is not static, as you gain strength you need to push yourself a little more. Increasing sets or weight (should not do both together, they should alternate!) is a standard practice...;
