In case you are wondering, I'll tell you. Water is known as the universal solvent. What that means is that it will absorb almost anything. So, even though it's been on earth for millions of years, once you put water in a bottle it's life is limited. Its actually better for you to drink tap water than bottle water because florescent lights, the kind of lights that illuminate every convenience store in the world, help grow bacteria. During the bottling process, there are various processes used to clean up the water including filtration and ozonation. If too much ozone was added, the plastic will leach into the bottles. If too little ozone was added, bacteria can start growing immediately. Awesome!
So, it seems that even though plastic bottles will expire sooner, glass bottles also expire.

No. I just made 19 gallons and put them up in glass jars. I have an Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) machine that makes about 19 gallons in 19 hours. The jars were from inexpensive wine jars from Costco. And they have a place to grab hold of and pour or pick up the water. So I started last night because of a hurricane warning for all Hawaiian islands, I began to make the R.O. water, and finished this AM. Alkaline will last indefinitely, the same as R.O. water. Alkaline is more healthy, though. It has a flat awful taste. On the other hand it is lacking the minerals, but if you take vitamins and minerals; and herbs you will get all you need or even if you use sea salt (which I do); and know you, do too. Or even (YUCK) table salt you will be OK!

How long have you had the bottled water? If it hasn't been for years I would drink it. The other alternative would be to throw away the water, recycle the glass bottle ,it doesn't expire.

In glass it lasts much longer. There must be a date on it in code on the bottom of the bottle.

Water doesn't have expiration dates. It's been around for millions of years. Just relax.
