The best way to train any puppy is patiently. About 20 minutes to half an hour, take your puppy outside. Take her to the same place in the yard that you want her to use. If she has an accident in the house, show it to her, say no, and then scoop up the puppy in one arm, the accident in a paper towel in the other hand, and then take everything outside to the designated spot. Put the mess down and show it to the puppy, and then (the neighbors will think you are nuts) praise the puppy to the skies. Use your happiest voice and tell her what a good dog she is. Really get excited and do the happy dance. Don't EVER punish or put her nose in any accidents she may have. Just be very consistent. Always get to the accident as often as possible. Show her what you are upset about. Tell her you don't like it in a different voice than your happy voice. But NO SPANKINGS, and NO pushing her nose in it. After all, she wants to please you. It's just a matter of getting her to understand what you want. Punishing and spanking may make her afraid of you, which is not what you want. Good luck.

Crate training is a wonderful thing. Here is a website that may be helpful to you. http://www.inch.com/~dogs/cratetraining.html

Even if you do not plan to crate her once she is housetrained, crating during the training period is very effective.

When you have her with you, she should be leashed. Anytime she whines or whimpers or starts sniffing around, take her out. Keep her on the leash-- even in the backyard-- until she goes. Immediately reward her with lavish praise and a small treat (bite size) She will learn very quickly. Consistency is the most important thing. It's more a matter of teaching her what behavior you DO want, rather than trying to teach her what you don't want.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://bitly.im/aL26o

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

In my experience with pups, you want to take her outside to potty every couple of hours and tell her"go potty". Keep her out there until she potty's. Tell her she's a good girl for going potty outside. Believe it or not it does work. Crate her at night time, same time every night so she doesn't potty in the house and tek her back outside first thing in the AM. After about a week or two she will get the hang of it and start letting you know when she has to potty.
Hope this helps and good luck!

The best way and to me the only best way is to get you a dog crate ,keep her in it at night ,when you let her out go then directly outside .take her to a place that she has potted before. always give praise. keep her crated when you are not home she want potty in her crate .I would try not to keep her crated over 8 hours at this young age. older dogs can be crated longer. Good luck
