As many as ONE OF EVERY THIRD PERSON will claim to be 'Christian', or that's roughly a total of over 2 BILLION Christians out of the world population of 6 billion individuals today.
Among these so-called 'Christians', there are around 30,000 [!] DIFFERENT VARIATIONS OF WHAT THEY BELIEVE a 'Christian' SHOULD BE... ACCORDING TO each of their own church's teachings and/or INTERPRETATIONS of the Holy Bible.
Definitely, NOT ALL of them CAN BE CORRECT. And there lies the BIG PROBLEM in DEFINING WHO/WHAT a 'Christian' truly IS or "according to who's" doctrines their beliefs are even based on...
Many will correctly say that to be considered as one, a Believer strives to be "Christ-like". But sadly, some of these people are also the biggest HYPOCRITES out there who are quick to condemn and HATE OTHERS who DO NOT belong to their church group or believe in the same things that they do!
Who is really a "true Christian"?? With all the LIES, scams, and falsehoods of those greedy wolves in sheep's clothing out there, it's really hard to tell anymore these days...
I do strive to be one by confining my beliefs ONLY to the teachings of Yeshua Messiah [pbuh], and do prefer to distance myself from the FALSE DOCTRINES of certain institutionalized religions or churches...

Someone who has heard the gospel of Jesus Christ and has believed that He died and rose again, so that they could live- who has confessed their sin and asked forgiveness through Him. Someone who has repented of that sin- and follows the Lord, loves Him with all their heart, soul, mind and strength...
Someone who has been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb!

Anyone who is baptised into a church that believes that there is one God, that Jesus is the Son of God, and that Jesus died for our sins and was resurrected in triumph over death and evil.

a christian at the moment is some1 who admires what Jesus did and tries 2 emulate him

Christian = Christ-ian. ie follower of Christ.
To know who He is one has to read the Bible, specially Gospels.

I am and I thank God for it everyday. He loved me before I loved him, he saved me, and he paid a debt that I could NEVER pay I praise God and I love him he loves everyone and wants you all to accept him, GLORY TO GOD!
