By Standing By Him! I don't know that you really need to come out and say "I will stand by you," as long as your actions indicate that you will...however, if he seems to need that assurance from you in words, then just say, "I'll help you through this" or "I'm here for you." or something along those lines.

There nothing you can say that he will believe. At this point in his life actions will speak louder than any words. If you are really close help come with ways in saving and stretching money. You can bond and help him all at once.

You can help with advice and working the budget Only with his money.
Now, is it a credit problem or emloyment crash. If it just the job thing. have him over for dinner take the food over there.

Just tell him you'll stand by him, but make sure he understands that doesnt mean you're going to SUPPORT him financially.

tell him that why u are now together, to support each other. life never will be easy, we have to fight everyday to survive. and when we have love nothing is impossible. I don't fear the future Susan, u may not believe me but i like to fight for tomorrow...i like these little things that may us work hard to get it.that what make life worth to be lived..take care love, wish u both the best.
