there is this girl at my school that sorta just randomly gave me a hug, it was unexpected. would say she is just barely my freind. we just kinda joke around and stuff in this one class i have with her at school. what does this mean.. is she being freindly or does she like me, its kinda got me confused.

She most likely has a crush on you. Whenever us girls like a guy, we take every opportunity to touch them somehow. Probably when you guys have been joking around she has playfully hit you on more than one occasion. The hug was probably her way of trying to tell you she is interested. At the very least I think she wants to be a better friend (I say better friend because you said she is barely your friend now). If she likes you, she will do more hugging and touching to show you.

Ok well I didn't know you or this girl personally, and all girls are kinda different about hugs and who gets them and so on. But i'll try to help as much as i can. When i was in school, a lot of girls would hug a lot of guys, and its just normal. That is just their personality and i wouldn't start feeling jealous over who she hugs. It actually pretty normal. Issue two, is that you obviously like this girl, and my question to you, is how did she react after you gave her a hug? If she didn't run away screaming then i think you have a good shot. And if i were in your shoes i would ask her out to the movies or dinner or something, and just see how it goes. It will be one date, and at the end of it, you should have a clear idea of if she likes you or not and unless your really dim witted which i doubt, you should have no problem taking the proper steps from there. Also, whats this girls personality like? Happy? bubbly? cheerful? is she just a friendly person? all of those are big indicators that her hugs are normal.

It could mean both. One way to tell is if she keeps glancing at you that's one way. Well in truth tho girls are confusing. There is no way for any of us tell tell you. Im not a guy that's real smart at this subject cuz no guys are. I do kno that if a girl likes u and u dont do anything she's gonna hate u for awhile (not a good thing)
A quick way to find out if she likes you is to ask if she wants to go with your and her friends to the movies easy way and if she likes you she'll usually try to sit next to u.

It could mean alot of things if a girl hugs you it could just be that she is sad and she needs a hug or that she is just happy to see you and in your case she hugs beacuse she likes you so i think that she does like you ;)

It could be either. Girls tend to hug a lot. I wouldn't take it to mean that she likes you anymore than a friend, but it could. To know, you're going to need a bigger sign than a hug. Girls always hug.

She could like you or it could of been a simple hug, nothing more. Pay closer attention to how she acts around you or if you catch her watching you. Good Luck

Itmay mean some lots f things lyke if she hugs and you radomly...dats confusing i mean amybe she just gives hug ou to people she feels close to or just thinks as you as a friend. Or maybe she does you should try to ask her something that refer to it seeming lyke your radomly asking ehr to go out just try to see if she keeps giving you hugs and stuff.

depends on the hug, was it full body contact with a pause? or was it the lean in a.s.s out pat on the shoulder hug? the first could be a good sign, the second your screwed give it up.

It could mean to different things one that she is nterested in you or that you are a good friend. I hug guys I like and I hug my guy friends. Good luck in all you do!

a hug alone can mean many things. if she's doen any other kind of flirting ( giving looks, dressing extra hot, laughing a lot around u) then yeah she likes you otherwise, she's just being friendly.... hug her back, see what happens
