Islam commands that a Muslim stand up for justice and protect those who cannot protect themselves, no matter what religion. If I were to defend my country, it would not go against my beliefs. Creating injustice however would go against my beliefs, and if my country were to do this, I would refuse to participate. Anyone in their right mind would agree.

Okay, a bunch of hypocrites (doing things against their beliefs) protecting the USA?
If that ever to happen, then what happen next to USA would be disasterous.
For the sake of the USA, I hope that never happened.
Though it should be noted in some religious groups, it is authorized to take out those who malpractice the religion and also it's authorized on doing peaceful alliance with another religious group.
So if the USA want to take out those who malpractice their religions and make peaceful alliances with various religious groups, then it's healthy.

I would never go against my beliefs- that does not mean I would not work with someone of the opposite faith....but I would never deny Jesus Christ, or deny the word of God in any way. If I were asked to give up my faith, NO WAY!
Psalm 118:8 8- It is better to take refuge in the LORD
than to trust in man.
Hebrews 13:6
So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"

As a country, the USA has started walking away from the values that created it. Christian values. Political correctness has become the standard of our society. However, Christian values have still not walked away from our country.
