Jesus is not only the "reason for the season", He is also the purpose for life. This life is only a starting point and the decisions we make here will affect our eternity. Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but by Me." You can call that narrowminded, but it is the truth. If we ask him to forgive us and turn from our sin, we are His. Until you do this, it seems crazy. But if you have faith and believe that He is God's own Son, you will never be the same. You will see things totally different. I am living proof of this. As a teen I was a little on the wild side. A product of divorced parents who had turned us kids loose to do whatever we wanted, I smoked, drank, and I ended up pregnant at 16 yrs old. Thankfully, God had purpose in even my biggest mistakes. After my daughter was born, I was at the end of myself and turned to Jesus who saved me and miraculously spun gold out of all of my inadequacies. This was 23 yrs ago. He has never failed me even when I fail him. I am celebrating my 23rd anniversary in January with the man of my dreams who is the father of all three of our children. There is no doubt in my mind that God is real, Jesus is His Son, and my purpose in life is to worship Him and tell others about Him.

Life is a highly complex system of definable physical and chemical structures capable of utilizing environmental matter and energy in order to perform basic life processes such as growth and reproduction. Therefore, there is no "meaning." It only is.
