Hello Why,
I'm not sure, I'll have to think about that one. Sometimes guys tell lies just because, to them, it seems the easiest thing to do.... and in situations like that, if it isn't a serious issue, I don't care if they lie or not. I could tell you more easily under what circumstances I would not want my man to lie to me.

Technically nobody wants to be lied to, but there are a few times when everybody does lie to save face or to keep embarrassment to a minimum. The lies we tell to each other and to our significant others on a routine basis are fine with me...I just don't want to find out that my man's been hiding another family somewhere else, there's no excuses for those lies. However, telling me that my fat self turns him on just as much now as it did when we first got together is completely acceptable...and so is the one I tell him about being just as sexy as he was back then...

It is of the utmost importance for man's survival to lie when necessary when confronted with rhetorical questions such as:
1) Do I look fat in this?
2) Do you think she's prettier than me?
3) Would you find someone else after I die?
Etc.

I would NOT want my man to lie to me at all ever!
Honesty is the foundation of trust and trust is the foundation of a relationship. Even if it's bad, we always tell each other the truth.

i love those little white lies, you know the ones that make me feel better......I told my husband that I needed to buy a new pair of dress pants, (I have gained about 10 lbs, damn office job) and he tells me to stop putting them in the dryer so they won't shrink.
That is the only lie I will ever hear from my hubby. He's a keeper.

There is never a good excuse for lieing to someone that you love. I would hate for my boyfriend to lie to me and would more then likely cause me to question everything he has ever said to me.
