Some people just don't have the ability to cook for whatever reasons they have, and that doesn't mean you still can't have a nice Christmas dinner. Stores in all areas have very nice meals they sell that you can pick up or have someone pick up for you. If not, you can go to a restaurant and have an awesome meal and not have to wash the dishes...I pray your Christmas is special! =)

Some Indian restaurants are open on Christmas Day. Arrange to pick up a takeaway (in advance).
Also, buy some toilet roll (in advance).

Too much alcohol, sharp knives, hot ovens, hot hob rings, hot pans and potentially under- or over-cooked food sounds like a recipe for disaster to me! :-)
