Did you buy Windows or use someone Else's program. If you bought it, The validation # is usually with the program. If you got it some other way, you can't validate it. That's how they stop pirating.

to get valadation you have to register your copy of windows with microsoft. your valadation numbers would be your "key numbers you used for your windows XP pro install. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/resources/howtotell/ww/windows/default.mspx to get your validation and also your security patches and xp2 on your PC. Good luck. Mikie.

All you have to do is download any Microsoft update, and it will validate it then.
