I think it would benefit Mexicans to learn English, more than it would benefit Americans to learn Spanish.....English is, and will always be the primary language, in this country....

It is easier for Mexicans to learn English because North Americans aren't the only ones who speak English. English is the language business is conducted in all over the world. If the US switched to Spanish, then everyone else around the world would have to learn it too.

Mexicans should learn English. If Mexico was the most influential country in the world then it would be the opposite. We all have equal potential, but More Americans have a formal education. Mexicans definitely need to learn right now.

What is easier? Really? For the ones coming here to do nothing and be taken care of in their own language. For them anyway. But that doesn't make it right. I grew up hearing about clueless US citizens going to other countries and expecting everyone to speak English to them. How very arrogant for Mexicans and other Hispanics to come here and expect everything to be translated into Spanish! Then they have the nerve to call us lazy? We're pretty smart. Maybe we should learn Spanish and then those who refuse to learn English will be left behind. Spanish really isn't that difficult to learn. And no we shouldn't be required to learn it. But if it will help with enforcing immigration laws and deporting the invaders I'm all for it.

English is considered the hardest language to learn. I'm fluent in Spanish, and it was very easy to learn. There are smart Americans and smart Mexicans. I enjoy learning new languages. If you don't want to learn then you don't have to.
