I was wanting to play 'You are the love of my life" by sammy kershaw in the beginning, (by fiancee wants me to come in with the wedding march so I'll probably have to cut the first one short). And at the end when we a pronounced husband and wife I was thinking of playing 'It's your love' by tim mcgraw and faith hill. For those of you who have done the same, what songs did you use?

If you are getting married in a church, make sure you're permitted to use the songs you are wanting. Some churches do not allow secular songs no matter how beautiful they are.

Also, during the ceremony there are a couple places that songs or readings can be inserted; and if you are using the unity candle or some other unity ceremony, you will need a song for that as well. Remember, too, that you will need a song for the parents to enter, one for the attendants (male & female), and then one for your entrance.
You should be able to work your Kershaw song into your ceremony somewhere.

A friend of mine , who's a 'down-home gal', used Geo. Jones' song, "Picture me without you" during her ceremony.

Its bad luck to walk to the wedding march on your wedding day. Or so I've heard. Canon D is what I used to walk down the aisle. Its so elegant and classy. I played "Its your love" by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill and "That's when you know its Love" by Deena Carter in mine.

Good Luck! Its such a special day.

Canon in D down the Aisle, Its your love (Same song you mentioned) as the first, and another duet by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, cant remember wich one now. It worked well.

I walked down the aisle to "all i want is you" by U2, then when we were pronounced husband & wife "forever now" by cold chisel.

we cut the cake to "romeo & juliet" by Dire Straits, Bridal waltz to "Have i told you lately..." by Van morrison & then left the reception to "thank you" by Dido.

Make sure you are really happy with the song you walk down the aisle to, because you want to remember that 'feeling' whenever you hear your song - i do when i hear mine, i get goosebumps!

Good luck :O)
