Would you rather date a man with a lot of confidence and a "go for it" personality, but who in reality is a kind of an underacheiver? Or would you rather date a man who is somewhat unsure of himself and shy, but who really has his act together?

shy, unsure of himself who has his act together
1) shyness can be over come and the true person within can be let out
2) a good guy whos unsure of himself, isnt big headed and is less likely to cheat
3) a man with a plan is going places and taking me with him!! woot

I would pick the "somewhat unsure of himself and shy, but who really has his act together" one. I hate it when a guy is to full of himself, and arrogant. All girls want to be pursude, not matter if your outgoing or shy.

Neither. No self respecting person wants to be with a person who isn't going anywhere in life. However, low esteem is not attractive. Showing self confidence so so sexy. They tend to be to needy when they are unsure of themselves and want you to hold there hand. It's very sickening.

i would say shy and has his act together...its better to be modest about your life and actually be doing something...than a bunch of hype and talk then when its all stripped away your no big deal at all. and boys that are shy are cute! ahh

I dated a guy with no self-confidence - it was AWFUL!!! He kept telling me what a loser he was - it just got so old and I could not deal with it.
