Prairie oysters are also called calf fries, and mountain oysters - they are beef testicles. They are served at the food concession at Coors Field (Denver, Colorado baseball stadium).

The only good thing you can get here at Yankee Stadium is a hotdog.

I've had them, but they are served at very few restaurants here and I'm not about to clean and cook them.

I have, and they are.

The testicles of young steers, that is.

The flavor is not bad. The texture is... interesting. Not bad...exactly, just...different.

They don't imbue you with any special powers, or anything, and are loaded with fat, as most organ meats are.

If you have a chance, try them. It's no big deal.

Best wishes!

They are bull testicles, I have never tried them, ya gotta draw the line somewhere! My local supermarket has them from time to time, they also have a sense of humor because they always are in packages of three.
