Does anybody know where the fluid could have poured out. i added tranny fluid and about half a quart poured out and i dont see it pouring out of the tranny pan or from anywhere visible. could somebody help.

O-ring around dipstick may be missing or you could have a broken line

what he said... where the dipstick goes into the tranny housing..

the tubing that the dipstick goes into is just slipped into a hole on the top... you might have poured it to fast...

unless it leaks while driving just fill it slower

If you put too much oil it comes out the vent.
If you had just drained the torque converter, the plug is loose..

If you added some, maybe it didn't need any. If you overfilled it, it will overflow and leak the extra out.

it could also be coming out of the front oil pump in your trans.behind the engine

make sure you didn't sling a rod through it
