if ur not dating dont propose...she will think u r weird if u do that.....ask her out and see how everything goes if ur still sure about it then go for it ...but date and make sure shes the one b4 u just propose to her....

I had a really hard time understanding your question...I think you're saying that you like this girl, but she is older than you? And you think you want to propose to her? All I can say is, don't propose to her unless you really know her. 8 mos. isn't a long time!!!! And unless you're with her 24/7 you don't know her all that well yet.
