I have to take this med one for everyday for about 9 months ago. I already had it for 6 months. I was wondering what can I do to drink alcohol. should I stop it for the period of time I drink alcohol and start again after I was done? because I only want to drink for the christmas time.

Are you on isoniazid for TB? You really shouldn't quit taking the med at all. I would strongly recommend that you abstain from alcohol for this Christmas. I know it will be hard, but the sooner you finish taking the isoniazid, the better it will be, both for you, and for the people around you.

Isoniazid and alcohol are both metabolized by the liver. So as not to burden your liver, it's best to not take the two together.
