I just need to add that i myself still have trouble moving on from loosing my mother...some days are better than others, and then you hear something that reminds you, and find yourself right back in that place you struggle to get out of.

I'm sure a lot of people have had this problem, me even. I remember about 4 or 5 years ago I had to move away from my friend in another state. I left a lot of friends behind and I have trouble every now and then, yet now I can cope with it. Having to move away from your past can be very devastating and you may have to force yourself to move on, even though you don't have to. I took my time and took things one at a time.

For the most part no. I have always been able to handle everything life has thrown at me....

The only thing that is still tough for me is losing my dad to cancer (happened Feb of 2000) Still to this day, I can be minding my business doing anything in the world and it will hit me and I get overwhelmed with this sad feeling. I don't know why, and I don't know how to make it stop.

With me I just dont want to even though i know it would be better for me. I think about all the things we've done in the past and it makes it much harder to move on. Im just afraid of being alone. Be strong and move foward.

Sometimes we are stuck on the past because we cherish those moments very much. The easiest way to let go is to look at your present, and be thankful for the great things you have now! Look up and forward!

Not me, but I say to everyone who does have a problem moving on from the past! You can't change it, so there's no use looking back. But you can change things about you you don't like to make a better future. Change is good, without change, we die! Think about it!
