a devout follower and practitioner of my faith. I have made it my duty and obligation to my fellow man to treat everyone, literally everyone I meet, as I would like to be treated. I give to many charities without expecting anything in return. I would die for my God, and my Faith. I read the scriptures and learn to perfect my faith. I join man and woman in matrimony in God's sight, and perform the necessary rites and rituals upon the dead so they may reach God quickly.

Can you tell by what I am what religion I practice?

My guess from this small amount of information would be that you practice the religion of Jesus. No, I don't mean Christianity. Christianity has largely become a religion ABOUT Jesus as opposed to the religion OF Jesus, meaning the religion that Jesus believed and taught. Your description could just as easily fit many other religions, but in essence, all religions which follow and teach the things you described are following the religion of Jesus. All who seek God will find him and all who have faith in God will be saved.

First glance would say Catholic, however, that is bacause I am more aware of their practices. I do believe though that most religions all would follow the same pretext. They all have one thing in common, a belief in God.

The Religion of Love and Compassion - regardless of what Diety you may pray to or what title it may be given.
