Just wondering how Ultram effects you....I realize every one reacts differently to meds., just looking for a general consensus. Thanks.

ultram is not an opiate but it can give people the euphoric feeling and such like an opiate can. There is no narcotics in Ultram at all.

Ultram (tramadol) works a little different the the brain then opiates, but it does have some opiate like properties too. Unlike true opiates, it is not a controlled substance (according to the FDA) and should have a much lower potential for abuse and dependence.

Ultram is a medicine usually given with other pain meds such as Loratabs or Percacepts. It helps boost the pain meds given. When taken properly you should feel no pain at all
