i tried to say goodbye to a guy i fell in love with over SMS. (yeah i know sounds stupid). we met january 2006 during one of my business trips. we kept in touch, YM/ SMS. started wooing me on sms. he kept saying he'll come & see me (i never asked him). he lives 1 hr. away by plane. he even opened communication with my mom (also SMS). had a chance in may 2006 to go on vacation near his hometown for 1 week. he knew, kept texting, but never went to see me. i told him SMS i felt bad he didn't come & see me. told him i regret having reciprocated his affections prematurely. NO REPLY. since then he reduced his communication into infrequent forwarded messages (sms & email), until now. just received forwarded email from him today, after texting him goodbye last friday. i don't bug or pursue him. but he keeps coming back with sms/ email forwards. what does he want from me???

What do you mean "he won't accept" goodbye??? He doesn't have any choice. If you are done with him, then it's freakin' over! You shouldn't have to say goodbye more than once. If tell him to get lost and he tries to come back even once, then you should feel perfectly within your rights to go after him with a baseball bat. From now on just ignore him.

Time to change your SMS it should have ended within a month...
What is wrong with you anyhow... why meet someone via text. This guy could actually be right behind you at work laughing out loud. Come on get rid of the virtual dude and get a real man

I'm sorry to say this but I think he just wants to be kept entertained. Just cut him out. Dont text him, dont email him, dont SMS him (whatever that is). This kind of relationship (cyber) isthe easiest to end. Just shut him out.

You don't need his consent to terminate the relationship if that's what you want to do. I'd recommend it even. I'd also suggest you discontinue the good bye messages--you're probably just trying to get his attention anyway. Move on already.

I would be REALLY blunt with him. If he can't take a hint then it's his problem. Tell him flat out that you want NO contact with him. If he continues tell him you will take legal action. If that doesn't stop him get a restraining order.

He's married or in a relationship - most likely married. He wants side action. Move on - You deserve more than that.

Ignore his messages....he doesn't want to lose touch for some reason (afraid of being alone?) but sure hasn't made any effort to get to know you better. Pass!!!!

Who knows. But you already know he isn't for real, you feel it in your gut. who cares if he says its not over, it never began in the first place! Quit talking to this idiot and tell him to leave you alone.

He is playing with you. I suggest that you stop all communication with him and move on.
