I have been on BC pills for 6 years. taken them everyday. sometimes I may take them 15min to a half hour apart.. my boyfriend and I have been together for 2 and a half years.. i'm 25 and he's 27. the last time we had sex we didn't use a condom and he went inside me. it was also on the 4th day of my period. I took my pills like normal and then I got my period again but it was only for 2 days and then it just stoped. Is there a chance that I could be preg,, even though I am on the pill????

There is always a chance that you could be pregnant, because birth control is not 100%. And you also have to factor in human error...so if it is not normal for you to have only 2 days of your period, then you should either consult you doc, or wait until your missed period and take a preg. test.

There is always a possibility. However, the fact that your period was irregular this time is not necessarily an indicator. When I was on the pill, I would occasionally have a weird cycle. But, like I said, since you are having sex, even if you are on the pill, you could still get pregnant. Yet, since you have taken all your pills correctly, it is highly unlikely. Wait about a week and a half and then take a pregnancy test. Also, remember if you are.... kids are a difficult responsibility, yet they are also a treasure.

Well, I would probably buy a pregnancy test just to ease your mind, but I do not think that you are pregnant. The fact that you have had a period since the "incident" tells me that you are not, sometimes we just have short periods. Now, there is a website that you can go to and here is the link:

http://www.americanbaby.com/ab/fertilitypredictor/

where you can plug in the first day of your last period and it will tell you when your fertile time will be (approximately). I have never had a fertility time that was DURING my period, usually 10-14 days after.

My suggestion to you to ease your mind is to buy a home pregnancy test. Then, I would call your OB and tell her about your strange period. It might be the fact that your body is becoming "immune" to those pills and you might need a stronger pill.

Hope this helps.

Yes you can be pregnant. BC is not 100 percent effective. Why would you have sex while on you period? That's nasty and you should know that being 25 years old but go and get a blood test because if you go the cheap route and get a store brought test there might be a malfunction. That's a risk but then again...... Good Luck anyway
