Most guys like girls that are confident, so if you feel comfortable and confident in bangs, then go for it! It really depends on the shape of your face too.
It took me a while to train them and get used to them, so be patient if you decide you do want them.

It depends on the size of her forehead and how neatly they are cut. Also, if they're always in her eyes or frizzy, then that would make her appear unkempt.
What guys do or don't prefer is matter of personal preference. Different guys like different things, and often at different times - they're also complicated. They are often not all that knowledgeable about beauty or make-up issues being suffered by women. Please yourself first.
