My first instinct to be honest was poison. However when you mentioned your underwear, it is more probable that there is a blockage. An X-Ray should show any obstruction (at least most blockages). X-Rays can be very expensive, but this could be life or death if it is the case. The only treatment for a blockage like that is surgery. That is very big money. If you are an established client with the vet, you should be able to work out a payment plan. Yes, it could be a virus, but dogs rarely catch intestional viruses, particularly that last this long. If after a pet has been on boiled chicken/hamburg and rice for 3 days and there is still no improvement, they should really see the vet. Don't beat yourself up about the underwear, just be more careful with it from now on. Good Luck!

Did your vet take some bloodwork? When my cat was vomitting, we brought her to the vets and they drew some blood to run some tests, make sure that her actual system was running fine(no virus, all was healthy. good blood cell counts etc etc). We did offer her replacement kitten milk for extra nutrients(puppy milk for your case). If he is keeping down the freezer pops, then it is better than nothing. Best to give your vet a call to see if the freezer pops are ok, and even ask about the replacement milk. Sometimes, if they have eaten something they shouldn't have, they NEED to vomit until they can rid themselves of whatever is bothering them. I would keep an eye on him, watch him for a few days, and keep giving your vets a call to let them know how things are going and whether you are doing all that you can.
It took my cat about 2-3 weeks of vomitting before stopping. We(including the vets) have no idea what caused it(possible hairball?). But she is doing much better now and eating normally once more. Also, perhaps you should not be giving him human food for awhile. Every time we gave our cat some human food, she couldn't keep it down. So she is now on a strict diet of only cat food.

Definitely take him back to the vet. Has he been having bowel movements? Have they been normal? How much chicken and rice did you give him (it should have only been about 1/3 of a cup).
It's possible that he ate something that is still in his system. He might need xrays to find out. 4 days is a long time to go without really eating much and vomiting. The medication should have helped with that.
First, call the vet today, see what they say, bring him in today if necessary.

If he hasn't had vaccinations, I'd be suspicious of a virua... like parvo. Especially if there is a diarrhea associated with the illness. If you've had vaccines, I'd get the vet to feel the abdomen again. Things are constantly changing in the intestines, and what he couldn't feel Saturday, he might feel today. He can also give some barium and take xrays to check for a blockage. Underwear is very common to attract dogs.... Lord knows why... but it is a common obstruction.

As you can see that's how people get that phrase : "Sick as a DOG". Anyways, in my expereince having had over 10 dogs, I realized early on that dogs have sensative stomach. Especially becasuse their main diet thoughout their lives consists of one or two kinds of food and water, and all the dogs before them consisted the same kinds of diet through many dog generations. Not only that but they will not have certain enzymes like us humans to break down certain chemical compounds. it's not anytime soon that we will stast giving them sodas, candies, fast food (also a good sign that it's BAD for us too! LOL). Yeah and it's unfortunate that they are like little human babies sometimes curious and tasting objects and plants and whatever may be there. And then because you love them and they are so sick it's frustrating! The vet should of told you a time frame. In many cases if the same symptoms&severity persists throughout the week , definately take your family member to the ER. Hope your loved one feels better soon(poor thing = (

As long as he is able to keep down water, then your dog isn't in immediate danger. If he stops drinking, he can dehydrate quickly and will need to be seen by the vet again.
Sometimes dogs get sick, just like humans do. Hopefully this is something that will pass, but be ready to take a trip to the vet if things turn for the worse.

Take the dog back to the vet, something is obviously going on and it needs to be corrected. At this point the dog could be dehydrated as well. The underware eating could be causing an impaction. Also, whose to say if the dog eats underware that he doesn't eat other things. Did the vet do any blood work? I would say that is step 1 to figure out what is going on, I would also says this dog needs fluids

Is it possible that he is getting into something that you don't know about. Chocolate, antifreeze, certain plants, onions, grapes and raisins can all cause vomiting and death in animals.
Can you crate him while you are gone and watch him like a hawk when you are home to make sure he isn't getting into anything?
You should definitely call the vet and see if they think you should bring him in again.

Take him back to the vet. Explain to him or her what is happening even though you gave your dog the prescribed medicine. Or find another vet. Please don't wait consult a vet before the problem gets worse.
