I'm 5'5" and I am 105 lbs, I don't really want to lose much more weight but I really want to get rid of the small amount of fat sticking out on my stomach- I basically want a flat stomach. Please don't say sit-ups/crunches- I do those- but they only strengthen he muscles they don't get rid of the fat. Any other suggestions would be really appreciated!

Seriously everyone that has told me to eat or stop bitching- I do eat! And I do NOT weigh too little for my height- this is where I have been weight-wise for about 4 years (I recently lost some weight because some medication I was taking made me gain weight and none of my clothes fit!)
Anyway- I do eat. I am healthy. I am not looking to lose more weight! I am just trying to flatten my stomach!!!

I was a model and keeping a flat stomach was a must. Cardio is very important to get rid of the layer of fat, to prevent weight loss just keep the amount of calories consumed equal to the amount burned. Also try eating a high protein diet and really cut the carbs. I always had to go on the Atkins Diet prior to a photo shoot it was the one sure and quick way to get rid of stomach flab.

Its a common misconception but you can't actually lose fat from your stomach by doing crunches. Did you ever see someone with rock hard sculpted abs but fat everywhere else? No I'm sure you haven't. You lose fat everywhere at pretty much the same time (though not quite) but crunches will do well for toning your stomach and making it look better. The best thing you can do for a six pack is cardio! Do lots of running. That's the secret.

Now to answer your question.
I know sit ups are just too long (time wise) hard and boring to do when by yourself... here's some advice from my own experience...
Do you like to dance? this might sound funny but it really works...
Everytime you shake your hips when you dance... tight your stomach muscles, do that everytime you do any type of movement ;) ... dancing is fun and the more you dance the more you work out... always tight your stomach mucles even when you walk.
I know it sounds like too much work, but trust me if you make it a habit to tight your tummy, it will become the easiest thing ever.
Sit ups are good too, they just take a while but they work, results should be visible soon enough depending of how often you do them.
Every girl has that little bit of fat in their tummy, that little bump that agravates everyone jeje. No matter how much exercise you do to get rid of it sometimes it just doesn't go or it might take longer than others... everyone is diffrent.
Good luck and when you least think of your tummy... bam! your dream might finally come true! ;)

You can not target fat removal from a specific body part. You need to do a combination of cardio and weight training in order to have overall loss of body fat. Your body weight is already very low and it would probably be dangerous to lose more weight. Through weight lifting you can tone your body and lose fat even though you may weigh more in the end. You would also be more fit and healthier.

First, you are absolutely right, you should not weigh any less. If anything you may want to add a little weight by actually strengthening your muscles and toning up. Because the only way that you can possibly have any excess fat with your height to weight ratio is if you are "skinny fat". And the only way you can alleviate that is by adding a little muscle.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

continue doing what you are doing! you sound yummy! but if it is just skin there it will tighten up over time, eat high fiber foods . oats and beans and do cardio. It maybe water retention there so see a doctor how to safely take care of that. get a body fat analysis with calipers, that bulge maybe scar material or lose skin

Go low carb for a week or two! My stomach was the first thing to go and with hard core crunches in combination, it toned super fast. Good luck!
