my bf and I are ttc (have been for 6 months) and so far we haven't been successful. this month we had unprotected sex on the 9th and I was supposed to ovulate on the 10th...period do on the 24th...was wondering if any one had any tips on ways to increase chances of concieving? I am a 24 yr old and not on any type of birth control

Well if you are ovulating on the 10th, have sex on the 10th, not the 9th!
Or to be safe, have it on the 9th, 10th, and 11th.
Look at your discharge...you will notice like 2-3 days where there is a lot more...you're ovulating!

The best thing that you can do is relax. ;-) Also, you can purchase kits that let you know when you are ovulating, so there is no guess work (see link below).

Go to a Dr and get yourself and you BF tested to see if everything is ok. Don't trust fools on the internet with your baby's life, go to a professional.
