THE QUESTION IS AT THE END
Once a long time ago, I found myself in a situation that forever changed the way I view prayers and its power and many purposes. Try to bear with me as I share this story with you. I was use to be where you are now and I would understand if you found it annoying to continue. I will try and tell this in 400words or less.
The city I use to live in was a large populated area and like many cities similar to this it had more than its share of crime. One day like any other day I went about my business. I had to make a trip to the laundry mat and when did I notice an article on the bulletin board. It was more of a glance as I was passing by. Without warning or any indication I was overwhelmed with a powerful feeling to look at the picture. I looked and then a voice said, "pray." I glanced around at the 2 other people in the room and thought, "please don’t do this or I will look whacked in front of these people." The day was going well and looking like a fruit cake was not in my plans. As these thoughts were in my mind the people finished their things and left the building. The urge was so strong that I felt as though my body would burst open if I held it in any longer. So I prayed over the child in the picture. I was filled with anguish and sorrow for the kidnapped child that had been missing for a couple of weeks. I had heard of this girl vaguely in the news before. I was sad but not shocked since crime was not new. I left and went about my day. Off and on the heaviness and sorrow would return and I would stop and pray again. That night I had a dream that the girl was being kept under the floor of a building where many children played and parents stopped by. I dreamed it was a secret place that no one knew about but this man. Next day I awoke and wondered what it meant. I didn’t put a lot of thought into it, I just wondered. A few days later the news showed the mother weeping and thanking God for her daughter’s return. She stated she knew with prayers she would be returned. They found the child at her day care building where the maintenance man had kept her under the building all that time she was missing.
MY QUESTION?? Who was the voice that told me? And why?

The voice was something in your own head. I have no idea why such a thing would happen.

I find it interesting that you seem to think that the voice and, I assume, the dream were from one god or another. It's much more likely that you dreamed of the little girl because you had thought about her throughout the day. I often get very sad when I see the postings of missing children and catch myself throughout the day looking for them in the faces of others. The fact that this one time your dream seemed to be a premonition is a coincidence, as evidenced by the bajillion other dreams you've had in your lifetime which didn't amount to anything.

Good question..... It's hard to say. Was it a voice from above - an angel perhaps or God himself? Or was it just your own voice in your own head that you heard? This article obviously overwhelmed you when you had read it - perhaps it was that overwhelming feeling that made you think you heard an actual voice. Or perhaps it really was a voice from above. I am a huge skeptic about God and other dimensions. Yet, I still somewhat believe. You, and only you know what happened that day to you. If it was ever so real to you, accept it and rejoice in the fact that you were chosen to hear that voice that day. Rejoice in the fact that your prayer was one of the many to help that little girl get home to her family. Perhaps it was also a gift from heaven to help you believe.

I dont know what the voice was. Maybe it was God. If it was why didnt you call the cops and tell them where the kid was? If God told you that sept 11 would happen would you just go about your day. If you dont sleep for longer then 48 hours you will hallucinate. Does that make it real? Do I believe that there its possible there is something out there. Yes. Do i think its in the Bible or the Koran. Most def NOT!!!!!!

You are NOT a diety's tool! What happened to you doesn't mean there's a God that means you're an ultra-sensitive and psychic. You should be proud of your abilities and not attest them to someone else. You deserve the right to know that YOU are the one that is special and it's not because you did something it just happened.

If you want to believe in God believe in Him if it makes you happy. But I gaurentee you not everyone that prayed saw her under the floor as you did. YOU are special and you need to know that.

When you prayed, you asked yourself to open your psychic eye. Even the picture you have representing yourself is of an eye... do you think it's maybe what your subconcious knows?

As for the voice... I would honestly be concerned because spiritual people talk to God, when God talks to you then that usually means you are not mentally there. If it was more of a feeling than a voice than it was you wanting to do something and help this child out. Everyone who has a heart feels overwhelming sorrow when they see the board of lost children and runaways.

what's the justifications in the back of good works is the question? The Bible says our righteous acts are like filthy rags and our hearts are wicked previous concept. So an atheist could be charitable yet no longer good. the main familiar application contained in the international makes somebody good? lol rarely clever perhaps yet no longer good.

Nothing about your story is verifiable. Many people claim to hear voices telling them things, the quality of the things they are told varying widely. I read the other day where a woman claimed that Jesus told her to cut her infants arms off. I don't know if you heard voices for real or if you were experiencing some misinterpreted event or even if you are just making this story up.

you can create your own little world... there are alot of factors involved into this you can either try to explain this psychologically or spititually...... psychologically...... what ever you think about you will get what ever you concentrate on you will have . now you know that we all have cell everything does and when you divide those cells they are ion... the ions are posistive and negative energy so is you can consentrate this positive energy like how you did..........

Yes, I've had these experiences also. During a dream, it could be your sub-conscious or a divine insight. Doesn't sound like a ridiculous dream. Only you know.
