So I kinda fell in love with this guy, who I later on found out had a girlfriend. What's worse is I think he's the first guy I've ever really felt this way about. Everyone has been telling me to stop. So, how do I stop and let go? I've never been through this before. He's really like the forbidden fruit in the garden of eden, just so perfect, but I can't have it....this is driving me nuts!

Well I feel bad for you but you have to ask yourself how you would feel if the shoe were on the other foot. I mean think about how you would feel if you were the other girl and some other girl fell in love with your guy. How would that make you feel? I think that you paraphrasing of the Forbidden fruit is nice, but you also have to look at what transpired from Eden having that apple. I think what you should do is thank him very kindly for the feelings that he gave to you for the short ammount of time that was given and wish him well throughout his journey in life. That will show your maturity and your appreciation too yourself and them and who knows it could come back to you. In this case love needs to be set free and if it comes back its yours to keep.

This is probably not what you want to hear, but since he's in a relationship, the best thing to do is forget about it.... You don't want to be responsible for ruining another person's relationship.

Spend time with your girlfriends and have fun....they will help you to move on. Try meeting new people, at school, a bookstore, a restaurant, the mall, etc. This may also help you to move on to something more healthy.

Goodluck.

Same thing has happened to me (though I'm a guy), I had her in my mind for a few days, so I started talking to more girls and that really helped. She is still a temptation when I remember about her, but since I'm talking to more girls I hardly ever think about her cos' I'm thinking about these other girls.

There are plenty of fish in the sea...you will find another. Don't waste your time on someone who doesn't share the same feelings as you.

Ask him how he feels about you. If it's positive, ask him would he like to continue to see you. If it's negative, then move on. If he says that he and his girl is serious, step aside. If it's meant to be, something will surely give.

Tax time is coming so why don't you concentrate on getting all your tax paperwork in order? Then you won't have time to think of fruit or whatever.

You sound young. I know you'll hate me for saying this, but there will be others ... others who are AVAILABLE
