I don't know. It's one of the things (mysteries of Qur'an) that we, as humans, are not able to comprehend at this stage. And honestly, I don't think we'll be taking a human shape once entered Heaven or Hell.
Really, beyond my comprehension - this is one of the things we just have to accept.
Have a nice day :)

God has created all things in the most perfect way. When I was young I could not imagine that there were other countries in this world.I could not imagine the depths of the deepest ocean. I could not imagine that as I was going about my day to day life- the planet is being held up in the Universe, amongst other planets and celestial bodies. Our scope of thinking is very small, and I am sure that science is only beginning to comprehend this life.
I dont believe science can prove all things, and I am sure that God has secrets in store for us that scientists could never imagine!
As far as judgement day- it will be when the mountains flatten, and the ocean covers the whole earth, and the angels come to rip the souls from the damned and soothe the souls of the righteous.
In Islam we believe in Heaven (Paradise), and that the life we live now is nothing, really nothing at all in comparison to the life when we are raised and judged by God. Without rotting matter we will live fore ever, in peace and in contentment, (Inshallah) surrounded by family and by other good and holy and pure companions. With wonders that the human eye could never imagine.
I dont understand why that is hard for people to imagine. Then I remember being a child, and not being able to understand the vastness of the Universe, or the depths of the sea. I did not understand death, or races of people. Maybe that is how people feel when they try to imagine the afterlife. It is beyond their comprehension.
Peace.

Nothing is impossible for Allah,He can do everything,He created the universe in 7 days,he left the human being on this earth all that time and we don't know when will be the end.Allah promised us with an infinite life, immortal for what we have done.Do u have doubt in that?Allah created all the universe with all that occurrence and do you think that he won't be able to give us an immortal life?
Look around you and you will know the answer of your question

how one can live?that's in the hands of almighty Allah...
he granted us this life,he will grant us that too...that is the thing mentioned in Quran,we all know that it's surely going to happen but how....i guess no one can answer that!
i once heard a great scholar saying n i really liked his words,he said "this life has a limit,so everything in it also has a limit...our temptation, our desires, our wishes, our happiness, our sorrows every single feeling, every single thing is limited"..extremely good painting can inspire us for days, weeks but not forever...same is case of happiness,it increases to level of esctasy, beyond that it turn to numbness n then to pain...
but after death,as life will be prevalent forever....so all our feelings, our desires will remain forever...we won't get fed up of same things, same grants,n place like heaven inshaAllah...as bani israel did when granted mano salwa...or as we usually do...
may we all get a placei n heaven(ameen)

allah (swt) can do anything. death itself will die and there will be no death at all. in heaven people will be blessed with so much that they will never get tired of it. it amazing. if u really think of living in hell or heaven forever it makes ur brain twist. but allah has said so and so it will happen wheater we accept it or not. may allah guide us all inshallah and bless us all with much more knowledge of islam and give us a place in jannah(paradise). take care bro.
