You'd need to eat about 2,200 calories per day just to maintain what you have. In order to lose weight, you would either (a) have to eat less calories than that, (b) have to burn extra calories through exercise, or (c) both. BE CAREFUL. You don't want to starve yourself. Anything below 1,800 calories a day is "danger-zone." So don't go below that and add exercise to accelerate your weight loss efforts. Just be sure not to do cardio for more than 30 minutes at a time -- anything more than that and you risk losing muscle instead of fat. Good luck!

To keep a consistant weight you have to burn the same amount of calories that you take in. To lose weight you have to burn More calories than you take in. Keep track of how many calories you take in, and find out how many calories you burn during the day. I'm not sure where to find out like how many calories you burn by jogging a mile. But maybe look around online, or maybe a trainor at your local gym will know. Good Luck.

It's more about nutrition than calories. Try an organic vegan raw diet. You'll be firm, healthy, and energetic! My friend has a site with lots of info you can check out.

naturally you burn about 1500....so you should try to exercise to make it more because most people consume well over 2000. Try to cut your calories and up your calorie burning.
