Its going to take a long time and your going to have to be 100% commited to it. Running is the best exercise, hands down and will be the fastest way for you to lose the weight. Cycling is also a good alternative. If you ride for an hour a day and other forms of exercise; sit ups, sports, walking, yoga it will work best. Change your diet. Sugars, carbs and fats are your enemy! A good food to eat is vegetable soup, healthy soups because theyre mostly water. Try and drink more water each day and green tea, green tea will increase your metabolism and is really good for you. Some foods will say 98% fat free but still be high in sugar or carbs, so always read the packet. Carbs is short for carbohydrates by the way! So foods like breads and pastas are high in carbs so don't eat too much! Try and have salads for lunch, and DON't skip breakfast. skipping meals slows ur metabolism and you wont burn as much fat. Dont have a big dinner because your not doing anything at night but sleeping, dinner should be small. If your lucky your mom might help you and prepare you healthy meals. Drink low fat milk, and stay away from sugars and carbs and fats! Basically you get what you put in, if your commited it will pay off! Exercise DAILY with no exceptions, if your knee is too sore to run, do sit ups. A good thing you can do is instead of just doing ten sit ups and feeling to sore to do more. Do some in the morning, some after school and some before you go to bed. Hope thats helpful, remember the more you exercise the more weight you'll lose, and after eating healthy for a week, the next week will be easier!
