when you get married adoption is a great thing but if you are not married adopt a puppy instead, so it will be less traumatic for a child when one of you decides not get married

Of course you should not adopt children while you are not married. Make a full commitment to yourselves. Enjoy each other and then adopt and have children. Once you add a child to the mix, the two of you are connected forever, no matter what. That child will suffer for any bumps in their parents lives.

only if u have both discussed and decided it is appropriate for both of you. Also think of the consequences if u decide not to stay together. Children who are in foster care or with adoption agencies have been through a lot of trauma in their lives, u dont want to contribute to that trauma, you want to fix it. Good luck, do what is right.

Adoption is a way to make a family, not a way to have some fun kids hanging around you. Grow up.

In the meantime?
Adopting a child has the same result as having a biological child- you have a child in your family and its a lifelong commttment.

It is really up to you and if you are willing to pay high prices and wait years to get a child. But I'd say go for it because there are thousands of kids out there waiting for a family to love them and take them in.
