in R.E my teacher says we are equal with god but the next lesson she says god is better than us we must do as he says
which do you think is right

Humans are equal but different from one another and from any Divine force. But all are worthy.

If she believes she is equal to God, ask her to explain all lifes mysteries. A lot of people say this when they believe they are superior/ speak for God/ can't accept that God is superior to them.
It sounds like she hasn't thought very hard about it.
She should have said we are all equal in God's eyes.
We should do as God says - follow the 10 commandments.
I wouldn't trust her interpretation of "we must do as he says" though.

GOD,The Head and Father of the GOD Family,is over all--including Christ! Jesus constantly said His Father was superior to Him! But notice what I just said--"FATHER"...GOD is starting a Family--A ROYAL FAMILY--and He deeply wants YOU to be a part of it! You heard me-YOU!!! While it is true we will always have GOD over us in authority,He still is going to give you power to rule the Universe as His Son or Daughter! A ROYAL MEMBER of His Family!...Your Royal Bible is FULL of these promises! WHY is it noone believes it?

Mabye she meant in god's eyes people are all equal.... P.S. how could we ever be equal to someone who created the whole of mankind

God is God, and NONE are equal with HIM. We are all born equal to each other, what we do with it from there is up to us. Jesus loves us ALL enough to have died for us. That is pretty equal. Merry Christmas.

God is our creator, we worship Him. No one is equivalent to God
It is correct to say that Jesus is truly our brother for He took human form, but we are sons and daughters of the Father.

We are subject to time, and therfore, have karma.
So our circumstances are different.
We are in a state of develpoment.
