Hi yahooligans!
I am the latest entreprenuer in America, we are starting a humble employment agency on a shoestring budget. Our Agency will mostly do business with commercial and residential cleaning companies and the sort. With at least 5 employees working full time in the first month so far and more as positions become available. Can anyone be so kind as to give an estimate on Workmans- Dissability- Liability policy?

OK, these are three different policies, you know? Liability is about $1500 for $50,000 in payroll - and that's the MINIMUM premium, so if your payroll goes up, pricing goes up, but pricing will probably never be below $1500.

Workers comp for janitoral - as in contractors (as opposed to building owner) - is about 22% of payroll. I have no idea what disability is, I've never had a business pay for disability coverage for janitors.

Obviously, you're going to have to contact a local agent to get a more specific quote.

You will need to speak to a local agent to find a number. They will need all sorts of information from you from what you do with your company to your payroll size. It would be hard for me to give you a number without knowing what state, county, payroll, SIC, etc. etc. etc.

So, just look up insurance agents in the phone book and that will get you going in the right direction.

Good Luck!
