I'm single and have a "%$&@ buddy". This buddy started working at the same place of employment as I about a year ago. Things have been going fine....no one is the wiser to our "activities". Nothing will ever come of this "arrangement" and in fact we haven't enjoyed our "benefits" for about 8 or more months. Recently a new man started working at my company that has just swept me off my feet. I know, I know, you shouldn't get involved with co-workers....that's not my question. My question is....do I tell the new guy about the "buddy" or just hope that he doesn't somehow find out?

If you start dating anyone (exclusively), then you need to stop having sex with the buddy...no, you don't need to give the new work guy a lowdown of everyone at the company you've had sex with (even if it is just your f-buddy).

It doesn't matter who you were with before, co worker or not...if you want to tell him, that's fine...but it's not deceitful or wrong not to...

If you plan to be sleeping with both of them, then you need to tell both of them.
My rule of thumb on that is that a F* Buddy is only for when you're both single. So long as you have interest in someone and want to see where it goes, then you should tell your Buddy and let him know that if things don't work out with this other guy, then you'll call him.
No, the new boy doesn't need to know about your Buddy, but again, if you plan to sleep with them both, than it's only fair.

I would leave it alone. If you and your Fck Bud have not been active in 8 months then there is nothing to really say.I an sure he would want to keep this quiet too. Enjoy your new friend this could be More than just meaningless sex.

You run the risk of him finding out since they will also work together. If you think that your ex *&^buddy will talk, you might want to tell the new one that you "DATED" the other guy and let it go at that.

I would nonchalantly ask his opinion about casual sex first. If there is any indication that he would not approve, then I would choose to keep it a closely guarded secret.
