whatevva u do, do not get a metal one, they get squeaky and can bend in the middle. If I was you i would get wook beds, but i would get lofts this way there is more room and kids absolutely love them as well as teens, and college kids. My son loves his layout. he has a desk underneath and couch and table so he can have more space.
