It would help if you also gave me your skin type (oily, dry, sensitive etc.). Also, do you use a different acne product than you normally do around "that time"?

i actually dont know what is wrong with my face... its probably the most expensive part of my body cause i spent a lot of money on it and never got good results. honestly i tried products on every skin type and nothing happened and im staying on a combination now (means normal, oily & dry) for now im using aveeno products which actually i could say im getting good feedback on... i mean it retains the natural skin. try it.

If you don't have a lot, like some pimples on your nose, forehead, chin, nose, but not so intense your face is all red and everything: Use Aveeno Clear Complexion foaming cleanser in the morning and evening. Use Benzagel Acne Gel in the morning. Use Vichy "Normaderm Acne Prone Skin" Tri-Activ Anti Imperfection Hydrating Care in the evening. Benzagel helps cure the pimples you have, and the others take care of your pimples and make sure there aren't going to be more. If you have serious acne go see a dermatologist.. also not sure the products I suggested will work for you because everyone's skin is different but it's worth the try, it works really well for me! Hope I helped! :)

I had acne for years on my forehead, not too bad, but bad enough. I have oily skin and can only tell you based on that skin type. Lately, I have been using acne products from Avon called: True Pore-Fection. I use that in the morning and use a natural remedy at night. At night, I put Apple Cider Vinegar on a cottonball and rub over my whole face. I know what you might think...vinegar, it must make your face smell. It really doesn't. Instead of the vinegar you can use lemon juice if you get any irritation. The natural acids in the vinegar and lemon juice help dry up acne. There are other herbal remedies out there, if you don't want to spend a fortune on Proactive and such. I hope this helps you.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Get tested 2 find out why U get it. I first got acne problems >30 years ago. I still get acne & wash gently w/ warm soapy water. Wash every day @ least, after exercise, & b4 bed. Keep clean, exercise gently. Avoid rubbing or touch skin & avoid excess skin product such as moisterizer. Small amts products as benzoil peroxide - over counter acne cream helps me. Probably also helps 2 keep active. When I gain weight acne seems 2 get worse. Avoid over drying! U r on right track figure out what is the problem!

I have combination skin and is sensitive in certain areas. Nivea makes a great cleanser for combination skin, it is the blue colored liquid. When I get zits, I cover them with toothpaste, the pasty kind, not the gel. This is cheap and effective, and gets the redness of zits to reduce, and on their way to healing.

Around that time, try drinking a lot more water than usual.

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html
